Independent Homeschool students must have the following on file with the Attendance Office. 

 

• Intent to homeschool form (located as separate document)
• Two proofs of legal address in the Coffee County Schools district
• Proof of parent/guardian education (minimum high school diploma required)
• Instructional calendar indicating at least four (4) hours of instruction per day for a minimum of 180 days per school year. (located as separate document)

 

For sports related issues, the attendance office will only certify to the Athletic Director that the student is or is not an independent homeschool student in good standing. 

All documentation must be submitted to the attendance office PRIOR to August 1 each year.
